It's kinda hard to say cause, not only one person made up the Attiude Era, it's a few of them, and those few were The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock & Degeneration-X.
Undertaker::::had lots of gimmick matches, brought darkness to the WWE, lots of entertaining bizzare stuff going on(lightning,fire,rising from the ground) even until today.
Stone Cold:::::Rebellious, against the authority, trash talking and totally unleashed hell on his opponents.
The Rock:::::great persona, catchy catchphrases his matches were entertaining and definitely electrifying.
DX:::::Always had awesome skits, antiques and really suited to be called degenerates.
So, these were the four main reasons why there existed Attitude Era.

The Undertaker. He was the best in the Federation years, the best in the Attitude era, and he's still the best now. Which other superstar has the ring presence, the awesome athletic abilities, the phenomenal WrestleMania streak, and a resume with almost every WWE superstar defeated in his career? The Undertaker has lasted in the business, in one single company, without getting fired, longer than anyone else has. He is the most dominant superstar in the company and I doubt anyone will be able to be just like him.
