your zodiac sign, or group, is based on what year and month you were born in. you said august of 1989, so your chinese zodiac symbol is the snake. that is not necessarily a bad thing. Snakes are thoughtful, wise, the most seductive of the 12 groups, independant, sometimes lazy, sociable, and always well liked. They are very intellectual, but are very jealous and possesive. Brad Pitt and Oprah Winfrey are Snakes (if that helps).
