I want to invest in your business, but shouldn't you have John as your avatar since you are so cynical?

You would be suprised because we are conditioned to hear it the other way around. In fact I have heard this type of " word play" put into practice. I saw an infomercial not to long ago and the guy was talking fast and at the end he said " It's yours FREE for 6 payments of $29.95" I bet a lot of people don't catch things like that. It's true that if they use certain words it can cause people to lower their defenses and translate into more sales.

I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't even realize it until after they'd yelled at the cashier who ever so politely pointed out their lack of observation...lol

I,for one, read it wrong!!! It wasn't until I read further that I caught my mistake. If you try this in Mayberry.....you'll get some good natured smiles. If you try it in New York, you'll probably get knifed!!
