and you jump through it what would happen? would you keep falling forever, or fall back down when you get to the middle, or is it physically impossible?

You would fall to the center and be boiled alive in an instant. Actually, you would be dead before you reached the center. So quit digging in the yard and come and eat supper. NOW!

You would bounce back and forth until gravity settled you at the center of the earth. And that's just the perfect mathematical solution. (in other words, gravity would accelerate you to the center of the earth, but friction due to many different sources would slow you to stopping at a point not as great a distance from the center, so your next iteration of "falling toward the center" would not have as much force.) But then again, a hole such as you've described could only exist as a mathematical system.

it would be like a rubber band or pendulum or a guitar string. u would oscillate back and forward across the center of the earth and eventually stop in the center. the gravity would crush u the heat would burn u and i bet there would be crazy radiation. so id say physically impossible. maybe the moon, that might be interesting.

Yes it is physically impossible. But if it were not, and you eliminated air resistance, you would accelerate to the center, then begin to decelerate until you came out the other end, at the same speed as you entered
