please need advice about sony cd player, put in disc says no disc try all dif disc?

cd player might be going dead and if u have the slighest scratch or Nick on it then ur gonna get that...

If that is the problem the most educated thing to do is clean the lens. I needs to get cleansed every once in a while. To clean it just get some alcohol on a Q-Tip then clean the lens. The reason why it is most likely the lens is because that is what reads the CD/DVD.

take it back to the place that you brought it from, show them the prob and then ask for a repalcement.
