I agree with no because people would round prices up. But consider this.
firstly, a penny is worth more melted than it's tender value (5c i believe)
secondly, who actually uses them any more, I don't think I have given over a penny in change in forever. Sure I get them back, but they go in the money jar and sent back to the bank when I have enough of them

Well, from what I was told it cost more just to make it than what it's worth so that depends on how you feel on the cost of them making it and or they stop making it.
I think I would find it crazy to stop making them.
