sometimes i feel lke im the only one who can put themselves in other peoples positions i understand why my mom does things its because she loves me i respect her and i NEVER get mad at her i understand why parents make rules i understand why parents are protective is i just me or should more people think like this

Im just like you. I think more people should think they way we do. We just have very open minds and tend to be a little less stubborn then some others.

Do you also find your self stuck durring certain debates because you tend to understand both sides? I do. sometimes that gets a little frustrating, mostly durring classroom debates and essays for school.

what sucks is that most of my friends are like " are you crazy your mom was being over protective (or anything else)" even tho i dont see it as being over protective because i totally understand where she is coming from.

yeah kids should care that their parents care about them. Your parents will not let you go to a party? Maybe because they are afreiad a guy will give you a spiked drink, him & his buddies will f you and take pix and then pass them around school. Some kids need to think about stuff like this. On the news an 17 year old girl just OD-ed on pills some guy gave her and her friends finally called for help 8 hours later AFTER she was dead already. Now why was a 17 year old out that late and why didnt her parents care? If her parents said no she would still be alive. You are one of the smart kids out there so congrats! I hate when I see posts here about how kids are so mad at their moms for not letting them stay out late but there are SO many teens that wish their parents were home and that their parents care about them. My mom was never around and I had to take care of my little brother. I had the chance to go out all night and my mom would never know. She was gone for a month at a time sometimes. But I was afraid that if I got hurt there would be no one around to protect me and help me. I stayed with my brother and raised him as best as I could. A lot more ppl need to think like you!

Tolerant, compassionate, genuine, everyone SHOULD strive for those values that are decent and just,but some people are either too immature, some people were never taught, life circumstances have forced people to look after themselves.

Sometimes its not a matter of people should be this way, its more a matter of trying to understand why they are the way they are, and accepting the reasons they are that way.
In that you get an understanding that most people arent as evil or mean as their actions make them seem to be.

Doesnt mean you let them take advantage of you, it means you undertand their line of thought, and in doing that, you get to deal with them better, and you wont take anyones meanness towards you so personal when they do it.

i htink how you do also. im 15. i do understand all the rules and rights and wrongs that my parents teach me. i do understand the wolr dis messed up and filled with a lot of wierd people that you have to liv ewith. i understand a lot. more people should think like this.

one thing i don't understand is teens that have perfect lives but say that it's shitty. hmm the human brain is fascinating. i just dont get their stupidness.

My mom may not let me go out late a night or go to parties to people she doesn't know or know the parents, but I'm thankful for that so much because I ALSO understand because she doesn't want me to get hurt and she only loves me. I see friends who's moms that don't care and they are on drugs or have a baby its horrible. I understand completely!
