I need a program that will allow me to sing into the mic and like record me over an instrumental and make it into a song of me singin..anyone know a good one that's easy to figure out?

yeah, cause he totally sounded like he had a couple grand to blow of a not even that amazing protools rig which Christ knows takes a degree to figure out.

If you're using a Mac, you're blessed, just use garageband. If you're on PC, you can pick up a program like Cakewalk basic for $15, if you want to go alittle larger, use musiciansfriend.com to buy an alesis USB mixboard which would cost you $150. Which would give you four XLR inputs along with a range of other effects.

audacity is the easiest to figure out and its free
a really good one is n-track but it costs
you can download audacity here... http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

I use Audacity, I'm sure there are better programs, but it'll do.
