This is extremely common! If only I had known that the first time I tried that, also!
You just have razor burn! It's unpleasant, but it is not a big deal.
Next time use a saving cream especailly meant for the pubic region. Also, use a new, very sharp blade. Go over the area as few times as possible.
this may be TMI - but I'm extrememly sensitive, so I have to use a battery operated shaver to trim really well before I use an actual razor blade... and still, sometimes I get razor burn...
Waxing seems to be okay, you could consider that.
Good luck!

Yes, the hair folicles have closed over and that is the itching and the redness. Stop scratching, once the hair starts to grow out the itch will stop and the rash will go away. Don't shave there, you have hair for a reason.

The hairs are thicker, so it gets more irritated than your leg hairs. They have something called Bikini Zone and it helps get rid of the redness, it's mostly for when you swim and have to shave.

You cut it to close...A lot of women do stuff like that...It's normal to mess around like that...Nice time...Ask your mom or a female adult to tell you how...And honesty...At 11...don't sweat it...Just let it grow natural!!!
