Check the cord on back of xbox where it says hd or just tv. Mine did the same thing, it was just on the wrong setting.

I just had that happen after having a 360 for a year. I called microsoft (the number is on the 360 web site) and they walked me through some troubleshooting steps. Since that didn't work, they sent me a box so that I could ship the 360 to them so they can fix it. They have long warranties, so you should do the same thing.

Double check that all the wires you connect from the 360 to the tv are plugged in snugly. Particularly the red, yellow, and white ones.

It could be the TV, or it might just be a defective 360. Or the cat/dog could have chewed the wires, you should check to see if that happened. If it didn't you should probably go exchange it for a new one.
