I beg to differ...normally I would agree and say that my favorite is Yellow Brick Road or Rocket Man....But the one that touches me the most was on his album in the early 90's called The One....the song that tears me apart everytime I hear it is called the Last Song. Its about a man who is dying of AIDS and his last moments with his father. Its heart-wrenching. It didn't get much airtime so if you have the opportunity....try to find it and give it a listen

I beg to differ on the date reference, but one of my favorite older Elton songs is Skyline Pigeon. He is definitely a musical genius.
