First be happy you don't have it. We all get it at different ages. We actually are supposed to have it in our later teenage years like 15s or 16s not saying that you will. When I first started worrying when my period would come it poped out of nowhere now i wished I didn't worry about it. Ya your a little later then other girls but it will come. If none of these guys convince you or you really think there is an issue go to the doctor for a check up. Good luck!

It really soetimes takes time for these things! Some girls don't have it until they're 16 or 17, so be patient! Usually you'll have your period about 2 years after your breasts start developing, but its different with EVERYone. If you think that anything abnormal is going on, talk with your doctor, too!

no no its natural. It can be a confusing thing, and it can also be an exciting thing. It's great that you reached out to ask questions. Some girls get their periods earlier than others, and some get their periods later. Everyone is different. It might be a good idea to talk to a trusted adult, like a relative, parent or coach. If this seems like something you wouldn’t do, keep in mind that adults have gone through the same things and they are usually happy to help. Below are some websites you might want to check out:

All girls are different. My sister did not get her period until she was in high school, but I got mine right after I turned 11. It will happen in time (be grateful that you are being spared for so long). If you are concerned, ask your doctor at your next check up.

Its different for everyone. I didn't get mine until I was 14, but my younger sister got hers at 12. There is nothing wrong with you. Be thankful you don't have it yet, because once you get it, you will start cramping during that time of the month, possibly start getting headaches, bloating, fatigue(extreme tiredness), possibly tender breasts, and you most likely will become extremely moody.

The latest "normal range" of a girl getting her period is 18, so don't worry you're body is just working slowly. I'm 14 and 5'2" How do you think I feel haha. WHen you do hit puberty it'll hit you like a gunshot.

So?
You don't share all of your genetic programming with your sister. In fact, the only people who share all of their genetic programming are identical twins. It's NOT a competition.
When you reach menarche is genetically programmed. If you don't reach it by 16, see your doctor. In the meantime, just relax, as you have no reason to worry.

ask your mom when she got hers, that may help you out a bit. my mom and i got them around the same age. but my sister was different. but to be 13 with no period is TOTALLY normal. right now, if i were you i would just be really happy you don't have to deal with all those annoying cramps, pads, and stuff. you and your sis are different people...right now i don't think it's
