It was mezmorizing, intriguing and thought provoking....and, oh yeah, the cast of hot chicks was a murderers row of divas.

When Twin Peaks aired there was nothing else like it on televison. It was creepy enough for horror fans, intelligent enough for the "I don't watch televison because I'm an intellectual crowd" and enough eye candy (male and female) to go around.
I was hooked from the pilot. (She's dead. Wrapped in plastic!)
To this day there hasn't been anything like it.

It was so different than anything else out there. Then it started to get way too different...and got cancelled
Do we see Lost trying to copy elements from Twin Peaks?

I liked it because it was so incomprehensible, crowded with dreams and haunting. It was a show that should have never been on TV. For those of us lucky enough to see it - we'll probably never forget it. It was a show that didn't care if any one understood it or even liked it.
One image that has stuck with me is the one where the talking bird gets shot in it's cage in the police station. We don't see it happen. The camera instead focuses on some powdered donuts on the table, we hear a shot and then blood spatters on the donuts.

How can you not love lines like "she's dead, wrapped in plastic" and "there's a fish, in the percolator", classic David Lynch with a great song by Julie Cruise
