if i have limewire can i download from limewires of differnt versions? or can i download from people using frostwire? and vice versa

It depends on which version of limewire you have. I have 4.12 and it's completely free so I can't download from limewire pay-sites. I can download from limewire 4.12 and frostwire. I actually don't use limewire anymore because frostwire is basically a better version of limewire, in blue. Good luck n avoid videos if you wanna be safe

Your best option is Napster. Now even some Cingular cell phones can have music transfered to them from Napster. Limewire is not good. I heard that it gives you viruses and everything and not to mention it is illegal.

well i use it with itunes, first you download the songs you want then shorten the songs with long names (itunes will not let you import them) put the songs in the playlist box (click on the letter with a red plus symbol) and save the playlist (square disk symbol) the playlist should be something like limewire.m3u then save it somewhere easy to find. open itunes and click: file, import, and find the limewire playlist you saved and itunes should start importing then your songs will be on itunes
