we just don't have lives, that's all! so who are ya rooting for? i watched the busch race on espn today, hoping that the race coverage would be as good as when they used to do it. it wasn't as good. guess i'd have to blame the high cost of the tv rights for that. we can thank the france family (nascar) for that. there are just too many commercials now, it breaks up the flow of the race. and they wonder why viewers are tuning out and with the prices for tickets why the stands aren't full. have you found the nascar section in yahoo answers sports section yet? check it out when you get tired of helping people solve stuff. well good luck, and enjoy the 500! i hope we have a first time winner this year.

Well, I'm not hired, but I sure wish I could be!LOL I just happened to find this one day, and as the others said, it can be quite addictive:) I just really like helping anyone that I can~you'd be surprised how fast the points add up:) I LOVE getting the 10 points for a best answer...hint, hint:) To tell you the truth, I've never noticed the same people answering, I'll keep an eye out for my competition now! LOL

I spend 40+hours a week installing building electrical systems. I have been an electrician in one for or another all my life, and now I am addicted to helping people. I donate money on occasion and have even boarded a few people that needed a little hand. If i were to get paid to help people in this format I wouldn't do it. I would have to do something else to get away from work.

You get most of the points back if you vote for a best answer. I myself can't understand how some people can have such high scores, and answer so many q's... but like the first respondent said.. it's an addiction. ( to which I can only succumb on the weekends.)

i find that people have favorite categories,,, so yes you will see the same names often if you pretty much hang out in a certain category,,,, myself personally, i like to roam around,,,i have a life, lol, but its nice to sit down and just relax, when i find the time,,,,,, one of my quirky things to do is to go to the questions that have been there for a few days with no answers,,,,, some i know,,,, some i look up,, its to me educational to learn new things,,,, for example, i saw a question the other day about breeding plants, my first response would of been that you dont breed plants, just animals, but then on looking it up i found out people do breed them,,,,,
