You should support France while she supports Italy. It's not unusual for couples to support different teams. It's fun as long as it's a friendly rivalry.

I'm not Italian but I searched and found this from Answers.com:

Casalvieri is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Frosinone in the Italian region Latium, located about 110 km southeast of Rome and about 30 km east of Frosinone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,177 and an area of 27.2 km².

Start supporting the Italian team like all good boyfriend/girlfriends do.

Failing that....Who really cares about the football team? It will make it interesting every 4 years. Unless she holds a grudge and accuses the team and nation of being cheats. Even then it can be kind of funny.

First, DON'T SURRENDER.
Your feelings of Frenchness do not mean that you have to be like the French.

Second, ITALY BEAT FRANCE IN THE WORLD CUP.
You should go give your girl-friend a high-five for being so intelligent and slap yourself for being so foolish.

Third, WHY IN GOD'S GREEN EARTH WOULD YOU SUPPORT FRANCE OVER ITALY? France is terrible, Italy is amazing - in every way.

Fourth, GO HUG YOUR ITALIAN GIRLFRIEND AND PRAISE HER FOR NOT DUMPING YOU. And while you're at it thank her for being so beautiful, smart, sexy, loyal, and great at cooking. YOU'RE DATING AN ITALIAN GIRL - DON'T BLOW IT... YOU'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOURSELF.

lol @ juan.. My bf keeps headbutting me errr!

as strange as it is..I'm dating a french guy too! and I'm Italiana(crazy about Azzurri)! Our secret is we NEVER talk about national football when we are together...so we are happy :)

( actually that's not it.. he also has to speak italian to me.. and he moved to italy because of me!...ehehehe )

Casalvieri is the name of a municipality in Lazio, Italy. She or her family might have originated from there, so she has that last name..(it doesn’t have a certain meaning just the name of a place)

Hope it helps!

Each to their own Team you follow the French Team and let her follow the Italian. But when it comes to both Teams playing each other Rivalry is Rivalry and you can't do anything about it,but one thing you shouldn't do is fight about who is better because that really hearts in a relationship.
