It shouldn't be boring but sometimes things happen that cause it to slow down. After couples have been married awhile things change. They usually have kids that need attention, bills need paying and work has to be done. Many times one of the partners work more in order to pay off the bills. This can cause problems. Also kids will need special attention and it may cause friction between in the marriage. The only way I know how to rekindle the flame is to make time for each other and talk about it.Work through tough times and support one another.

In one sentence. They take each other for granted. They forget to keep the romance going. They forget about the things they used to do when they were single and courting each other. They forget to put aside "special" time for each other on a regular basis. Simply put, they forget about each others personal needs. The stresses of living seem to take over, eg. financially providing for his/her family, buying a home, raising children....all those things become a priority, yet when a person works so hard to be successful in what I have just said, they sit back and loook at what they have achieved, but realise they have drifted away from each other. There has to be a balance...if you put all your energies into providing the material things of this world and raising your children, then something has to give, and usually it is always the love and intimacy component in the marriage.

Great question here. Marriage is only boring if you do not do things to keep it fun and exciting. Date once in a while and have fun. Spend time together just cuddling and talking. Try new things in and out of the bedroom at times. Come on just use your imaginations. Go on a weekend getaway here and there. Just have fun:) Role playing is fun too lol. My husband and i like to try sex toys and fun things like that and we use lots of flavor as well. Also go to marriage retreats or things like that at local churches and couples things together. Marriage is what you make of it. If you choose not to do fun and exciting things then you choose to make it boring. BUT you can choose to have fun and come up with new ideas and this is a choice to make the marriage a fun and not boring one. It is all about choices and what you want to try and do to improve your marriage.

Marriage is not boring....it's challenging...trying to keep things fresh...
Making time for each other with out the kids, making sure you are on the same page...it's a lot of work...
And both sides have to work at it...or it doesn't work....

Sometimes it becomes routine....but you need to find new ways to keep the other partner interested...new hairdo, sexy clothes, ect....

maybe one person becomes solely interested in their work and then they ignore their partner
there are tons of reasons though, it completely depends on the couple
and to rekindle their love, talking is the only cure
