Like I said, I'm intrigued by Nobu and I can spend up to $100/head on the meal, but am I just a sucker for this? Please, don't tell me to go to a place not in a casino. Not that I don't appreciate those places, but we are being strictly tourists. Thanks.

There is an old saying "A fool and his money is soon parted". A little known fact is that most of the Sushi/great seafood restraurants get thier food from the same suppliers. So you can go to Nobu and pay $100 a meal or you can jump in a cab and go to Hamada of Japan. Located on Flamingo. Just minutes from the Strip. Absolutley the best Sushi I have eaten in this town.

I have never been to Nobu in Vegas but have been to both the Dallas and New York restaurants. If you like sushi, you have made a great choice.

And really their food is not outrageously priced. It's in line w/ any upscale sushi restaurant.

The very best sushi in Vegas...Hamada of Japan. No contest. Take the extra money to spend on a cab, well worth the short trip.

I've never dined at Nobu, but from the reputation, I would say you should have a very good dinner.
