its something i have been hearing it and saying it all my life but i dont know what im saying or really hearing. llike when someons says i might as well go ahead and do it now or is that what they are even saying?

u do not make mine plural EVER...so it's not mines no such word. Secondly might as well is fine....AND someone is only plural when it's used as a possessive.
