Should I get the ps3 now or should I wait until the big update in March?

ughh still didn't make up my mind completely between the wii and ps3, but I think i'll go for the ps3.

when I said "big update" I meant the fixing of all glitches.

Heres my side of the story

I first thought of buying an Xbox 360 because of its games graphics and its price..

But, after seeing the few games of PS3.. I started thinking.. "I dont even know what the Playstation 3 is capable of yet.."
Basically, wait for more games to come then buy the PS3. But ill buy it this may for my bday :)
Anyways, if you like First Person Shooter, The BEST roleplaying games, Sports, Cars. Then buy the PS3. It also has the internet and blu ray disc

Xbox 360: It has good graphics but PS3 still has the best. Games? FOR NOW, its the 360 but in a year or so, PS3 will have better games. Price: Reasonable. Has Xbox Live and all that..

Wii: People say Wii ruless!!! or Wii PWNS PS3!!
Its just because of the price. People hates the PS3 only because of its 600 dollar price. Think about it, IF the Playstation 2 outsold the Xbox 360 in 2 or 3 months? How do you think the PS2 did it? Simplyput it this way, Sony hasnt given us what the PS3 is capable of. Anyways, wii has good games but graphics are kind of good but not better than 360 and PS3. (Zelda TWP has good graphics but other games DONT) It has the best controller and its pretty fun to play only if u like sports..

Most of the PS3's games arent released yet but watch the trailers ESPECIALLY the Final Fantasy XIII and Fnal Fantasy VII (YES THE REMAKE!!!!! ITS RELEASED ON JANUARY 1, 2008 OFFICIALLY)

not sure if your question is whether to buy the PS3 now or later, or if its about getting the other game systems out there....

ill give my shot at both.

If you want to spend an extra 50$, get the 1 yr warranty, wether or not you get it in march ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN, and whats 50 more to 600 already spent? all the workers at bestbuy, gamestop, and circuitcity advised me to get it, and i did, and luckily nothing has happend to it yet.

as for whether or not you want to get a 360 or wii...
a wii is strange, i could never see myself playing it, i was raised off of playstation, ive had all 5 of them so far (Original, ps1, ps2, ps2 slimline, ps3 60gb). i have played Xbox before, but i do not understand how to play it, or how people even feel comfortable holding it. 360 doesnt really have anything that ps3 doesnt, whereas ps3 has a larger memory and BETTER controllers.

Sure 360 has Gears of Wars and Halo 2 and soon halo 3. But remember this, PS3 will ALWAYS have RESISTENCE:FALL OF MAN and SOCOM:US NAVY SEALS. Incase you never played Resistence, it will make everybody who thinks about getting a 360 or wii shut up unbeleivably fast. My friend has a 360, and vowed he would never get the ps3. He came over about 2 weeks ago we played Resistence, the next day he get a ps3.

Halo 2 + Gears Of War + Medal Of Honor + Socom + Call Of Duty = Resistence: Fall Of Man.

get a 360 its a great system and there cheaper and available not all sold out and i prefer it much better than the wii and ps3 ps3 has a little bit better graphics not much more than 360 and 360 games are more affordable than the wii or ps3

I don't think it's going to make much of a difference whether you got it now or in March because I don't think the new PS3's are going to have the March update installed.
