The Bush plan definitely subscribes to the idea of the great Myth. If they are allowed to carry out their agenda any more, we will be headed for world instability originating from the Middle East.

It's not World War III because we're not seeing other coutries aligning against us in the way they did in the other world wars. The problems in the Middle East are just a series of disjuncted conflicts that are piggybacking off of one another - calling it a "global" war on terrorism is somewhat of a misnomer. Most of the groups we list as terrorist organizations have their own distinct goals and territorial ambitions and can't even agree with one another. They all have differing levels of criminal activity as well, and some of them don't even oppose the US, per se.

World War III would be like if a bunch of countries in the Middle East allied with China and attacked the US or something.

We are screwing up the Middle East with their issues, and, if not careful, we could give birth to WW III.

This is not world war III. We are not fighting an army or coalition of armies. We are fighting an idea. Islamic extremist, or whatever your side likes to call them is an idea on how to practice and enforce their weird brand of religion.

as an Iraq vet who just returned home I can assure you that the media is full of it. Things are going great over there. Look at Viet Nam...hundreds of soldiers died every day. It's a bad day in Iraq if two or three heros die...
The Iraqis appriciate what we are doing and you will too in a few more years. George W will go down in history as one of our greatest presidents.

the only reason they are sending more troops to iraq is to create a front to iran. you wouldn't believe the coruption that is going on. Did you know that Iran will switch from american dollars to Euros when trading, especially for oil...do you know the impact this will have on the american economy..its no wonder america wants to invade iran..they will lose their status for the world's superpower

Well we tried to stay out of WW2 and we got hit on that one,
We hoped we would never see terrorist hit us here in the United States and we did.
Strange how history repeats it's self
.We may want to stay out of everything going on in this world but we are here in it and what happens over their will get to us sooner or later, you can run but you can't hide.

We're just helping Iraq with their Civil War. Another 20,000 troops or so should do it.
