Best way to walk: very carefully!
Fastest way to walk: there is none! Take your time if you don't want to fall flat on your face... And especially if you've never worn stilettos before...!
Safest way to fall: preferably not flat on your face. That'll ruin your outfit and who know's what else. I think you should fall backwards on your butt. Kinda embarrassing but if you are going to fall, it's the way with the least fuss...?

i see this question on here a lot. i wear REAL ( not stripper heels ) 5 inch heels almost every time i go out. the trick is to start with a 2 inch heel, then move up to 3, then to 4, then to 5. too many women try to start at 4 or 5 and they get frustrated and quit. and ALWAYS buy COMFORTABLE shoes. even tennis shoes are hard to walk in if they aren't comfortable. you should only notice you have heels on when you stand in them.

Focus most of your weight on the Balls of your Feet..this will lessen any discomfort and strain and give you more balance
As for the safest way to fall, I don't really know..I guess if you feel like you are about to go over..just go so you don't twist your ankle.
And after a couple hours in the heels..You'll get comfotable and start gliding around..don't stress about it!
Good luck!

practice, i had to practice walking on stilettos before (almost 4 inches) and i practiced on a solid ground, and then on carpet (which wasnt a good idea)
some people are naturally good at walking with stilettos, then its a given. (i can run in them) if your not comfterable with them then dont wear them to a club or a big event where you are likely to slip or fall.

I suck at walking in heels period but a friend of mine who is like a pro in them told me to always think "heel, toe, heel, toe". Also make sure to bring a pair of tennis shoes after the occasion because you will be dying to wear them!

Lots of practice and try to find a pair that is comfy, put baby powder in them to stop your feet from slipping, if you fall try not to buckel your ankle.
