I agree with what you are saying but prety much all of the Middle East has chosen to sit on the sidelines.

The reasons vary:
- not wanting to be viewed as supporting the USA against fellow Arabs.
- Islamic reasons
- not wanting an influx of terrorist into your country
etc...

The Saudis are playing an effective game. Saudi Arabia is the nexus of al-Qaeda terror for sure, there is no denying this. Saudis funded 9/11 and the Wahabbist ideology is spread via Saudi Arabia. The Saudis are still supporting the Sunni insurgents. It is against Saudi Arabia's interests to see Iraq fall to Shiite Islam and Iran. Bush is stuck in a very hard place, he has been played liked the Deliverance banjo.

the Bush family and the Saudis are not as tight as they appear. . In Iraq, the Bush plan supports the Shias while the Saudis are Sunni and they are funding the Sunnis. The Saudi Prince has plans of his own, and they are all unknown to most of us

We are hardly interested in Iraqi freedom. It's a Middle East power play that has gone horribly wrong.

Saudis are more interested in providing Sunni insurgents with explosives that kill our soldiers.

Do you think this is a very decent question to be asking? So you don't like Bush, fine, but to say stuff like this isn't cool.
