Do they really clean or purify the air in your home?

They release large amounts of ozone (O3), which can actually be bad for you. These machines are designed primarily to separate you from your money.

thats right, the extra oxygen atom in the molecule comes off to result in a stable O2 oxygen molecule plus a highly reactive loose O oxygen atom which desperately tries to attach itself to stuff, like dust, pollen, spores, so it cleans the air, but it is also a health hazzard, because those extra O atoms can easily attatch to anything in your body and turn into something that becomes a tumour or cancer because of the body's response to it. That extra oxygen atom is a "free radical", a very unstable and reactive thing, an "oxident", the body's enemy that vitamins A, E, C, b-carotene, and even chocolate, and substances in brocoli protect you from.

yes... they do.... but they have also been linked to cancer.... so careful.
