Should you dry all of your clothes together in the dryer OR should you separate the whites from the colored clothes before drying? I don't want to have colors run on the whites and I don't want lint on my colored clothes either.

You can dry whites with colorsm, but you do not want to overload the dryer, since it will take twice as long to dry. You could always run them seperate through the dryer to prevent a chance of getting lint or coloring on the other clothes.

I often dry all of my clothes together, the colors won't run in the dryer. And whenever I do laundry lint happens on any color no matter how I dry, so I'm not sure what you mean by that. Just follow the drying directions on the item, and all will be well. Hope this helps you out.

I'm 59 and have washed many a load of clothes. Aren't I lucky? Ha! Anyway, I believe it is much better to dry the whites separately from the colors. I have found out from experience the hard way that sometimes the blue from jeans will make socks or t-shirts get a bluish color and often, even without just having jeans involved, whites will end up not looking as white.

Good Luck, Hon!

How To Dry Colored Clothes

I am an expert in laundry. lol.. U dont have to separate the color clothes from the white when drying. Only when you are going to wash them. but most people do separate the white from color when drying because usually the white clothes are just socks, underwears, t-shirts. This makes it easier for us to fold and put together.

You can dry colors with whites, as long as you don't put vibrant colors with the whites. That means keep reds, blues, and blacks away from your whites. Especially if your dryer isn't a newer model and takes awhile to dry. The vibrant colors can rub off on whites.

yes seperate your whites even in the dryer. Because colors can still come off on your whites in the dryer, i have found, especially reds and pinks. So yes i always seperate whites in the wash and dryer. Other colors together in the dryer dont matter as much as whites.

I don't bother seperating them for drying on purpose. Normally it just turns out that way because I dry each load as soon as it is done. The lint thing is the issue, even if you change the lint filter. I'd keep seperating them just cause of that.

It's safe as long as you have washed everything in the colors load before. When clothes bleed it's during the first washing.
