im a teenager and i have many disney classic animated movies on VHS, and i dont think my parents had to struggle to get them, waiting for the vault to open and other nonsense... is it only for dvds that they get locked in the vault?

I don't think so. I think disney started the vault thing to make people feel like they had to buy the movie right away or you wouldnt be able to get it for years. I think they release them every 5 years or so.

Pretty much them trying to get people to buy more movies by telling people that there locking their movies up.

Although they haven't completly lost it yet cause i loved cinderella III It was like twenty times better than the crappy sequel even better then the original.
