For a good response to your question I suggest you find the episode of "The Boondocks" when the scenario was: If MLK didn't die but was in a comma, then woke up and seen what he worked for years ago allowed people to become today.(not sure of episode title)

Martin King did some tremendous and terrible things...he sat on both sides of the fence. Honestly, I don't think he deserved all the credit he got because who knows from where his ideas really came. All the controversy with his plagarized works must bring us to wonder how much of what he did and said was truly original...if nothing else the magnitude of his insufficencies at least should make us question his true long term motives. That being said though his influence on this country with regards to equality of the races was great...

I don't believe that it made him a 'real' leader though, a leader is someone whose ways are to be followed, a person that sets a good example in all that they do...someone that strives to do what is best for all....so in truth, he really didn't qualify.

individually i think of he might have supported us basically as he did each and every of the others that needed help. Their replaced right into a time the place blacks weren't dealt with with comprehend and dignity and he replaced that for the main area. Now there is the problem of sexual orientation, faith and gender (the two between the latter purely to an volume in recent times). i might choose for to think of that if he replaced into this way of large advise for equivalent rights and humane therapy he could be staggering in the back of us in helping us as we communicate. relax in peace, Marting Luther King, Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr. is suppose to be a leader for all races not just Blacks. He wanted racial equality for all. For me he is seen as a leader because of what he stood for not just because he was Black.
