Don't be afraid, the giggling is just the wood gnome babies.
They find you such a funny sight because they have never seen a full grown human in their den before. You must have fallen into the entry when you bent over while you were picking flowers in the garden.
Relax they will take care of you, feed you honey dipped flower petals and sugar spun spider webs, paint your face with pretty pollens, and then blink you home when you grow sleepy.

Sher has just made a leap into time and space. The last thing she knew she was sitting at her computer.
