Hi...I'm 15 weeks along and was in the shower when I ran my finger over a shallow crater-like welt on my leg (don't know how else to describe it). There are no pustules, no bruising, I'm not feverish, and it doesn't bother me physically at all, which is why I'm not at the doctor saying this. Anyway, if it is a bite, it's about the size of an index finger print. Should I be concerned with this? Thanks so much for your help!

Is there a sore in the middle of it, even one the size of a pinprick? Spider bites always have a spot in the middle where the spider bit through to blood.
I'd not fuss if it is not bothering you. Just keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger, starts to bother you, or drastically changes appearance, then see a doctor.

Could it be an ingrown hair? A spider bite would have 2 little marks.

I would get checked for Merca. Merca starts out by looking like a lump or big pimple, is is treated with special antibiotics..

i would get it checked out ..if it was a spider it would 1 be really red 2 have little fang marks and it mite be a little black and blueish i would get it looked at
