You could always get a part time job to earn some money to pay for it. If you don't want to do that, you could always make a deals with your parents. Offer something to them in exchange for and iPod. You could do some chores around the house or put up some of your money and ask if they would match the amount you have. You could also tell them reasons as to why you want the nano, such as the fact that your dad got an iPod so why can't he get one for you.

Life's not about material things girl. You can still be happy without an Ipod Nano or Gucci clothes. Think about all the people that work hard every day and still don't have enough to feed their families.
If this doesn't make sense to you right now, it will when you get older (hopefully).

How about "Can I get a job?" (babysit, mow laws, walk dogs, paper route)
or "What kind of chores/houshold jobs can I do to earn an iPod?"
If you're not willing to earn it, however, you don't deserve it.
Good luck.

Ask for money for your birthday and Christmas instead of presents and buy your own.

either you'll have to wait for a big birthday...or...how about offering to pay for half! save your money and help pay for it. That way they'll see you are responsible and that it really means a lot to you!

U should do both and tell him and/or her that it helps u concentrate on your work better. And besides he just bought him one tell him it's not fair. Ask your grandma, grandpa, auntie,or your uncle.
( That's what I do )
