Sai Ram. Pronounced as Saayee Raam, it is a greeting, a mantra and also a blessing to you. Don't worry. When you are asking such intelligent and deep questions, it shows the intellectual aspect of your psyche and your real need to know. Happiness is the only purpose of life, but the question is how to get happiness? Search deep within and try to know who you are. Who is seeking the answer to the question? Who is that you? Find that real you behind all the layers that are heaped upon by society and its conditioning.
Happiness is an attitude, not the result of external factors. Be happy and be grateful that you have come to a stage where such questions are arising. Seek and you will find answers. Sai Ram.

what an intelligent young lady. Everything you have said here, I can remember experiencing. Wow. And honey, really, as you get older, the fear of "life" still is with you. The time in your life right now is so very overwhelming. "where do I go from here". "what if i choose this path, when I was SUPPOSED to have chosen THAT path". Sometimes I feel as though I chose the wrong path, but hell, was it really wrong, because EVERYTHING would be different, and I really don't want it to be different either. Deep. I certainly think of ways I could do things better. Honey, I think the best advice I could give you is to live as though you have applied your best self to what you are faced with. If you do this, and make the "right" choice, then, at night, when your head lies on the pillow, you can run the day through your mind, and think wow, I am pretty proud of how I handled that situation. You didn't take the easy way out, you took the RIGHT way. All in all, the meaning of life for me is living so as to not have regrets. You can look at situations and rest easy that you handled that the very best way possible at the time...Being happy within yourself, your mind, your heart, your soul. Being your BEST you. Find some good friends, and keep 'em. Let the messy little people not bring you into their funk. Hold your head high honey. Be good to yourself, and smile. ALOT. Good luck, and God bless.

This time in anyone's life is hard. Easy answers don't exist.
Try to remember that you are a jewel. There is no other like you and in that alone, you are perfection. I know that life seems to fight you right now and that nothing you do seems to fit. But... This is your path, your own discovery.
Each day offers the same blessings of hope and renewal and all you need do is grab those blessings and make the discoveries you are supposed to.
Never quit, Live to discover and all things will be understood as you go.

Identify theese things;
What do you want to be like?
What makes you happy?
What makes you sad?
If you want to own a sports car, save up the money to do it. You can do & be whatever you feel like being. Im 15 & have been depressed since I was 11. I lost myself & Im finding myself. What do you really want?? Your 16 & you still have time. Everyone goes through the teen drama and stress but no one can feel the same emotions that you feel. Hope I helped

Look for love in religion. I have always been a muslim but until i tried to interpret it in a way; Then, one of these days i was bored and i read a bunch of explicit child abuse stories...it made me feel sad and hurt. I wondered why people would do this. The abusers were either undeniably cruel or just plain insane. I just felt like people had a duty to care for each other, i felt like humans were so animalistic. I felt like people needed to be more peaceful, and loving, and caring, and guide each other. Especially families...For me, it boiled down to the fact: We just have to submit to God [Islam:submission to the will of God]. We have to surrender to God, because its in Gods hands. Were here because we are being tested. You make think your a sinner till you hear about some of the horrible abuse stories; then you realize what kind of people hell is gonna fill up with. Life is life and we have to life it to the best of our ability; and ask for Gods help, forgiveness and love along the way.

Hey, I'm sixteen also and understand what you're going through. The meaning of life... a difficult question that is hard to give advice on. Try this though: go looking for some truth, find out what inspires you and makes you tick, try to figure out if god exists, and in general don't be too hard on yourself but not too easy either. At least you know you have a problem; some people go through their entire lives denying they even care if there is meaning in life.
Don't give up searching for it! (I'm still looking too)

use what talent's you possess
to accomplish great things, we not only act but also dream, not only to plan but also to believe
as soon as you start to purse a dream, your life wakes up and everything has meaning
there are only two ways to live life. one as though nothing is a micracle and one as though everything is a miracle
in your heart keep one secret spot, where your dreams may go so they thrive and go
go confidently in the direction of your dreams. live the life that you have imagined
dreams can be challeging, but challegens are what we live for
keep your dreams alive understand to achieve anything requires faith and believe of yourself, vision, hardwork, determination, and detecation.remeber all things are possible for those who belive
if you can imagine it you can create it
if you can dream it you can become it
dreams come true without possiblility, nature would not incite us to have them
it's not the length of life but the depth of life
help other achieve your dreams and you will achieve yours
life is a promise fufill it
you only live once but if you work it right once it enough
never never never give up!
ur question:what is the purpose of life?
my anwser:
WHAT IS YOUR DREAM?

Personally I've just learned that "what makes you happy" is not really a question because you probably know already.. I actually have no good answer.. I don't know how to explain it.. just be like the opposite of an emo, mmk? and..uhh.. enjoy existing, because if you died right now, you'd probably be real pissed at the missed opportunities...

particular i think of that existence for repeat offenders is sturdy.I advise reason maximum of those murders would have been prevented if the killers would have stayed in penitentiary. i can relate to the victims households. My buddy became into killed in 1997 and that they've not have been given any leads. An i know on occasion the jury shall we them off yet come on if the guy or female killed greater desirable than as quickly as you recognize hes going to do it lower back.

"Fun is not necessarily happiness. In fact sometimes people constantly seek to have fun to mask their misery, even from themselves. As you have discovered, having fun and possessions does not equal happiness.
Jesus, who had strong faith in God and whose teachings have affected hundreds of millions of people over the centuries was interested in human happiness. He began his well-known Sermon on the Mount with nine beatitudes—nine expressions that begin: "Happy are . . ." (Matthew 5:1-12) In that same sermon, he taught his listeners to examine, purify, and discipline their minds and hearts—replacing violent, immoral, and selfish thoughts with peaceful, clean, and loving thoughts. (Matthew 5:21, 22, 27, 28; 6:19-21) As one of his disciples later exhorted, we should "continue considering" things that are 'true, of serious concern, righteous, chaste, lovable, well spoken of, virtuous, and praiseworthy.'—Philippians 4:8.
Jesus knew that true happiness involves relationships with others. We humans are gregarious by nature, so we cannot be truly happy if we isolate ourselves or if we are constantly in conflict with those around us. We can be happy only if we feel loved and if we love others. Fundamental to such love, Jesus taught, is our relationship with God. Jesus taught that humans cannot be truly happy independent of God. You might want to read the reason at this web-site—Matthew 4:4; 22:37-39.
