I need to be able to get on television or in a movie without getting an agent. What should I do? Where should I go? Who do I need to talk to?

Yeah good luck. If you want to be on television or a movie you need to get known. The most popular way would be youtube but you have to do something thats never been done before.

take a gun a blow hundreds of people away, they always seem to make movies, books and get on national news right away! Just kidding.
I have friends in the Screen Actors Guild, best way I have seen so far, knowing someone, most definitely, knowing someone is the biggest plus. Try getting a screen xtras card and doing bit parts and stand in parts, or if your talented enough, try starting out in stunts. Horse back riding is a great skill to know when it comes to stunts!

That is not how it happens in the entertainment industry. No one will take you seriously. You need to know someone to know someone... Know what I mean? Get a manager or an agent that is the way...good luck
