Cumbria (the Lake District) north-west England, on the border with Scotland. It's been a cold and frosty night with the promise of clear skies and sunshine once the mist lifts.
A clue as to who is on this site can be found if you look at the time people post their Q's. While Britain sleeps, our American cousins are awake (5 hour time-lag to the Eastern seaboard, I think) and that's why there are so many q's from the USA up to now. Give it a couple of hours and the Europeans will take over. Anyway, what a great opportunity to say "hello" to each other!
