My parents wont let me get a lip ring
I want one cause its diffrent and it goes with my style (emo).... and my parents wont let me get one. They think its disgusting and the hole doesnt go away. YES! I know it hurts I know it swells up and chapps your lips (I dont care I want one)

Get them drunk?? lol they are christian (dont drink) I dont cutt myself ****** Emo is a style not cuting your self.... Not only is a style but its a way of life... As for it ruining my life.. YAH right thats all I want I dont want ears or tounge or big tatoos....
just one piercing. Umm yah the hole goes away.. It fills in trust me, I know that its harder to get a job when you are "emo" but thats why I get the smallest lip ring piercing and take it out...
I dont want ideas on why I shouldnt get my lip pierced I want ideas on why I should to tell my parents.. trust me my parents have told me all the stuff anybody can through at me on why I shouldnt (now why should I) parents style =D

Please read the whole thing...... I tell a secret at the end. I am glad that you have done your homework..... but.... you are very young and there is a reason why there is an age limit. They don't want kids making decitions that will effect them for the rest of there life. I work at a dentist office.... i have a very lovely girl come in one day with a lip ring.... It had chipped all of her bottom teeth So we fixed it.... The next time she came in she had gone to a concert and the crowd had gotten alittle frisky and her lip ring got ripped out. This resulted in plastic surgury and a scar that she will have for the rest of her life. A boy that came to the office got one too.... Then he got out of college and it was time to get a "REAL" job he couldn't get one in his field without talking it out. Now he have a nice scar from his too. Where i live you can't even get a job bagging groceries at the local price chopper with a lip ring. Look past what you want to do now and look at what you want to do in the future.... I haven't seen a whole lot of lawyer with lip rings..... teacher are not alowed to have them. What do you want to do later on it life.... Your parents are old enough to know that there is a whole lot more to life than the teen years. IF you are a girl.... get a belly button ring insted. You can hide it when you need to and if it scares its not the first thing people see. I had one. and I have four tattoos.... all in places I can cover up for my job. I am not a sell out.... I am employed

Ok first off, the hole doesnt ever go away. It stays as a scar forever. A litlle indent on ur face that you can never forget. So ur parents are trying to do whats best fr you, and I think you shoul listen to them. Growing up, I rebelled and got periced everywhere, and not to mention the tattoos. Now Im a scarred up ugly ***** who cant even get a job because I look like I just got out of jail. HAHAHa So I wish I would have listened. if you show respect to them, they might let you do it eventually, if you dont back down. But we all have had pahses of stuff.. think about them in the 70's.. lol And they are the best to know that its jus a phase and you'll grow out of it sooner or later, and its not worth scarring ur body for. You think emo is gonna be in forever? I beg to differ. Find another way to fit in, besides mutilating ur body. Seriously. Its just not worth it.

It's not different. Every fool has one. Listen to your parents. Otherwise you could lose good jobs later in life because you put a permanent hole in your face.

in 10 yrs will you want one, I know you really and truly want one right now, but believe me think long and hard about getting one of these they can become infected. you have to do a lot for just a lip ring, think about this before you make a drastic decision such as this one.

Wait til your 18 and then you can do it all on your own no parents needed to sign for you.

Until they decide it's okay, you probably won't get them to let you. Just wait until you are old enough and if you want one then, get it.

get them drunk, go to the mall the next day, come back with it, and just tell them that they told you yes last night when they were shitty drunk!
