You have to do something for someone else! That's the key. When you stop focusing on yourself and your sadness, and see the joy that can come to others from you, then you will find something to be happy about. Today I was pushing my shopping cart back to the place where you put shopping carts in the parking lot. This older man was pushing a cart that way too, and said "here, let me take yours for you." It was so nice. So many people just leave shopping carts anywhere in the parking lot, but I like to return them, and so did this guy. It was a very simple, small gesture, but it made him happy to help me, and made me happy too. Happiness, in other words, is created.

Make sure that you are taking care of yourself....
Have you asked yourself what lizziemoffles wants to do?
What would make lizziemoffles happy?
I had a period of time where I felt sad over nothing and it turns out that I never asked my self those simple questions. I had been so stressed at work or concerned about making sure that other people around me were happy that I didn't ask those simple questions about what I wanted to do or what would make me happy? It was the first step to finding some happiness and also talking with freinds about it helps.

I realize that it is not 'nothing' obviously there is something wrong. If you are sad look into the real reason why. If you are wollowing around all day feeling sad for 'no reason' then I suggest you look into your life and see what has changed since the last time you were happy. Go from there.

listen to music, write in my journal, take a bath, have a cup of tea watch a movie, get some ice cream (not alot tho), if not ice cream then pop corn
hormones can be wierd sometimes but its nice to be able to relax and take some time off. when ever i feel sad over nothing, i usually take that day as an excuse to really just "catch up" with myself and relax.
take advantage of those days, as wierd as they are, you CAN turn them into a postive thing! good luck and feel better!

Eat a big bowl of the most chocolatey ice cream I can find. And cry if I feel like it, but the chocolate helps. It releases chemicals in your brain to boost your mood. Watch a good comedy.

I do not usually do anything, because I've never felt sad over no reason at all, quite strange if I may say so.

Count your blessings. Think about all that you have that many others do not have. Think about the needy and figure a way to help them. Compliment someone every day. Think about improving your life by helping others and try to be humble, kind, courteous, honest, tranquil, and appreciate what you do have.
