she probably thinks you like her too much and may feel freaked out.

Haha. Sorry. I think i did exactly that to someone 4 years ago. Let's put it in this way, she's just not "ready"! Of course roses on valentine reads no HARM. When a person is nice and treat you in a certain way than others, thats just simply, Sincerity and genuine gesture, she's not overdoing it or trying to hard to impress you. A big thank you is sufficient, and the rest is history. take it slow. don't be discouraged, the bottom line is you are brave enough to offer someone a bouquet! Cordial that is...

okay do you get the wrong idea maybe she just liked you as a friend and nothing than more and the roses gave her the impression you liked her, liked her so she giving you the cold shoulder. one thing i can say women like honest men so talk to her, simply as her why the change did i offend you or do something wrong? whatever you do talk before you buy anything else the reason i say this is because i had a guy friend who i like as a friend only and because we were close he got the feeling it was more and started buying me gifts i received all kind of things however i kept telling him we were just friends but the whole time he thought he was wearing me down no way so we had a little chat and needless to say the gifts stopped as well as are friendship i guess you can't just be friends with someone you like.

It might not be the roses that caught her off guard. If it was just roses with a note happy valentines day then she is being immature. I would ask her, and explain to her that you only meant to tell her thanks for always being so nice.

If the note inferred more deeper feelings then that is what most probably turned her off. In either case, you should discuss it with her.

You took what could of been a very special friendship into something she never intended it to ever be. Now she knows you have physical feelings for her. she is and probably will continue to back away... Even from the friendship you just put the ca-bosh on.

I know you had to know but sadly things can have unforeseen costs.

you should talk to her about it.

She like you as a friend, not a boyfriend. In receiving the roses, she thought you want her be a girlfriend, not just friends. She is not ready for a relationship.

Roses, especiallly red one, signal romance.

Usually when a guy sends flowers to a woman, it means more than friendship. She might feel a little uncomfortable about it, thinking you want to be more than friends.

Is she single? Maybe not. You sending her flowers might have made her feel guilty about a significant other. How would she explain the flowers to them.
Talk to her.

She may think you are in love with her - are you?

It's clear she doesn't feel the same way about you, and is showing you that through her actions.

possibly when you sent the roses, and if they were red, usually means love, she may have thought about whatever feelings she may have had about you. I would confront her about it, and hopefully she'll tell you the truth
