Have you talked to him about this? Are you taking a bath or cleaning yourself before going to bed (douche your private part and brush your teeth)? You probably are snoring and he can't sleep. Are you giving him enough sex? or maybe you're refusing to give him when he needs it. Maybe it's time to buy a new bed.

Have you asked yourself these questions? It's only you and your husband can answer your question.

Good luck.

I've been there! lol Try explaining exactly what it is about the couch that makes i so much more comfortable than the bed. Maybe it's just easier for you to roll off of when you have to make those midnight pit stops in the bathroom (this one gets my vote). Maybe the cushions are more supportive of your pregnancy-pressurized back than your bed's mattress. Maybe the structure of the couch helps keep you from tossing and turning (pillows sometimes don't do the job). You could ask your husband to sleep out there with you (on the floor or the love seat). Just assure him it's not anything he's doing, you just sleep better for _______ reason when you're on the couch.

I started sleeping on the couch when I was married. It wasn't becuase I was cheating. It was because I worked 2nd shift and got home about 3:30am. I couldn't go to sleep right away so I used the tv to wind down from work. Then I would just fall asleep on the couch. Oh yeah and I was getting sick of my wife...that helped.

laziness, taking a wife for granted, and not taking responsibility for sleeping next to spouse. But if it's only once in awhile perhaps just exhausted from work, and falling asleep on the couch after watching tv. Depends on how often really.
Whoop that boy into shape!! (heehee)

It could be for several reasons...Is there young children that want to also come into your bed?..I know this one..I have 3 children and they all took turns sleeping in our bed ...he may need his sleep ....and sleeps there to get his rest...
if not this situation...how are things otherwise ...? If he is distant and not initiating intimacy at othertimes..could be a red flag....have you done anything to hurt him...? do you think he is cheating??? What does he say is the reason? I have had this happen to me.in my first marriage...we had no children...He said his back hurt from our waterbed.....so he slept in the spare room...I found out eventually he was cheating with a close friend of mine. I would really try to get to the bottom this one! good luck!!

I sleep on the couch sometimes cuz hubby is watching tv in the bedroom or cuz he's already asleep and snoring too loudly. I personally think that the person who wants to sleep should have the bedroom and the one who wants tv should be in the living room...??? Go figure!

I have a "friend" who sleeps on his couch (but he's still single).

He sleeps there because he had hurt his back and that is the only place he finds comfortable.

i sleep on the couch every night not because i don't want to sleep with my husband but because i seem to sleep better on the couch (i think it's due to his snoring)

Perhaps his partner snores or is a restless sleeper
Perhaps he has a bad back and the sofa supports it well
Perhaps they had a fight and haven't made up
Perhaps he's feeling guilty about an affair
Perhaps he's finding himself not so attracted to his wife anymore

Because the wife snores like a diesel. Because he's watching late night porn. Because your bed is uncomfortable. Because his wife is hideous. Because his wife won't put out, and it frustrates him. Because he farts in his sleep, and he is trying to be courteous. Because he can't sleep with someone else in the bed. Any of these.
