I've gone to the bookstore and noticed something. Many books are about nearly the same subject. I can't tell you how many books I've seen concerning World War 2, not that there's anything wrong with that. Which historical subject or event is being overlooked and deserves a chance to be told? Here's your chance to state your case.

I think there should be more on the immigration of the Japanese and of the fight between the Native Americans and us. I think the Holocaust is a great subject to write about, though, because I think that as the generations go on, it will be just another historical event, but the novels, which express feeling, capture the inhumane events and evoke emotions text books cannot. If you're interested, I just read Maus I and II by Art Spiegelman. It's a true story of his father's account before WWII and in Auschwitz. It's unique because it's a comic book, which provoked a lot of controversy.
