I'm a guy,32 years old who is just terrified of house mice.Me and my girlfriend have been living in our apartment for seven years and never had a problem with house mice until about a month ago.We have already caught seven and still have atleast one more here as i saw one earlier today running across my kitchen floor.Every time we catch one my girlfriend has to get rid of them for i am too scared to even look at them .She thinks i'm silly for being afraid of a little mouse but i can't help it,I hate everything about them,Their long tails and how fast they are.Are there any other men out there terrified of mice like me ?

Answering question: I am not afraid of mice. Rats larger than cats are of concern. I am not afraid in the sense you describe, but I would not interact with such a rat without a weapon of some sort.
Your fears are normal in as much as fear is normal. Your specific fear of mice is not normal for men. I don't really know if it is a problem for you or not. If not, don't worry and let your girlfriend do the work. If it's a problem, then seek help. There are two kinds of fear. One is rational and based upon fact. That is the kind that helps to keep us safe. The other kind is not based upon fact or is irrational. That is the kind that keeps us from enjoying life or performing a desired action. If it was my decision, I would at least want to be able to dispose of the dead mouse. Wear gloves and wash your hands. Other than that it is a mind game. Good luck!

LOL I live in the country and I have a bunch of mice they come in to get ouot of the cold they ain't that bad I see them running around all the time I have 4 cats and they have fun running after them

the only one in all folk who freaks me out are the spiders, and that's barely the super creepy ones or those that i comprehend are poisonous. i like mice, snakes are mind-blowing, and flies do no longer difficulty me.
