No matter what the reason ends up being, the best bet is to see your OB/GYN. Any time you miss a regularly scheduled period you should let your doc know. And to go several months without one, there is obviously something going on.. You could be pregnant, false negatives do happen, so go to the doc and request a blood test which will definitively decide that matter. If you aren't pregnant, then you need to find out why your period isn't coming. The most common reason in women of reproductive age is PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome, which can wreak havok with your fertility so you need to find out if that's it. Even though you're not having periods, the lining in your uterus is still building up, and having that happen for a prolonged period of time puts you at risk for endometrial and uterine cancer.

when I stopped taking the pill, I also got one period almost on time... and then nothing for many months... and then I got them irregularly for over a year. I finally saw a dr and they're getting back to normal now, but I did require treatment. my suggestion.... go see a dr. have them do a blood test, which are much more accurate than many HPT... and no matter the results, sit down and have a frank discussion with your dr. if you are pregnant, you'll need to talk about that, if not, you need to find out why your periods haven't started yet.

These are normal side affects of coming of the pill it can 6 months or so for your hormones to regulate, causing sickness feeling and no period. You should contact your doctor though they may want to do some blood test to make sure everything is ok.

I would call the doctor and have them do a pregnancy test for you they are more accurate because that is a long time to not have your period.

Retest. Could be nothing, but then again you could be pregnant. If it's still negative, contact a doctor.

Go to your doctor and have them test to see if you are pregnant. If it says that you aren't, then maybe he can give you a reason as to why your periods haven't been coming.
