If you were to choose an interesting politician, I would go with the senior senator from Massachusetts, Edward Kennedy. He's been on just about every significant senate subcomittee, not to mention the family he comes from. Also, you may consider the new-comer, freshman senator from Illinois, Barack Obama. He's an up and comer gaining popularity very quickly. He's also appearing on the ticket in the democratic presidential primaries, opposite the likes of Hillary Clinton and John Edwards.

Walt Disney the man. I used this for a research paper. He was a very interesting man long before he built such an empire.
