why is it that when my family drinks milk my cats follows them around and meows until she gets some..but when they eat chese,eggs,yogurt all that other stuff...she dosnt do it..i dont eat/drink dairy so she dosnt do this to me..but why does she only do it to milk..not other dairy?

the cat likes milk and is smart enough to know that is whatthey have, you could trick here by gettting out the mike jug and pretend to pour some in a glass that already has water and she would beg for it. i have a cat who is a nut for ice cream but she doen't like milk or yogurt. if i have a bowl of something she comes to see what it is, if it isn't ice cream, shes gone

my cat knows when we are eating cereal and when he hears us scrape the bottom of the bowl when we get low he comes running and acts all crazy jumping on our laps and wanting to have the milk. I think that cats are just really smart and may remember one time when they got food from you and just remember and want more.

She simply likes milk. Our cat liked cut meat in packages for sandwitches.Tuna,chicken,beef.
