I watch deal or no deal and Im like, what the fu...that woman doesnt need a s**t load of money! Shes got a great job that most likely pays her a s**t load already! Why dont they ever try to actually make a difference in someones life who is actually poor! I went to a try out for the show and I kid you not, they all sounded like the stereotype of the "white snob." And evryone who was there clearly had money. Im not saying RICH people shouldnt have a good ol time on deal or no deal but, damn, all the ones that end up on the show are always the type I saw in line! Show me someone toothless, someone wearing dirty, ripped clothing. And the same for that show that gives people brand new homes! I saw a episode once where the bathroom was nice, and clean, kitchen too. The whole house was not bad, the people had alot of nice things in the house, so that obviously means that arnt poor. I just cant believe these shows and the people they pick and dont pick to be on there shows. What do you think?

nana4dakids...shut up...the people that show picks are nothing close to me and I soooooo far from them...I think whatever you read is BS...Everyone on that show pulls in a very nice amount of money thanks to a very good job. Id like to see an American busting their *** working 2 jobs or maybe more to support their family or an American student working full time and going to school full time. Not someone whos already got it easy.

I saw an interview with Howie Mandel the other day and he said that the producers of the show pick every day people. It is true because the episodes that I have seen, when the people get to the point where the banker is offering them $40,000. dollars, they say that is more than they make in a year. They are just plain Joe Shmoes like me and you.

As far as Extreme Home Makeover, That is entirely different. The people picked for that show have been through some very rough times and have gone out of their way to help others or have been in a situation where they could not repair the house they are living in and it is in unlivable condition. I would not want to get on that show because those people have lost some pretty big things to get themselves there. There have been two homes in our area that have been redone. One, a man was shot in the head at work by a robber and he has lost his eye sight. The other one, a plane crashed in to a house and it burned to the ground and the insurance said the couple that owned it did not have the proper insurance to cover a plane crashing into the house.

I agree, Altleast they have a house, shoot why no longer rebuild an previous domicile for some dude living in a studio position of living or a cellular domicile. and that i also consider the Deal or no Deal why no longer bypass p.c.. some individual operating as a protection shield, waiter at dennies or someone operating at frys or some thing perhaps p.c.. some individual driving to paintings or college on the bus. Its continually someone making atleast 30 grand a three hundred and sixty 5 days or someone who's almost done with college.

maybe they are poor people and the TV shows gave them nice clothing to wear on the show. I really think that deal or no deal is a hoax just to get people to call in for the prize money in the case at the end of the show and on top of that you have to pay for the call as well. I am not that poor I just get by but I would never get picked for a show like that in a million years because I do not believe deal or no deal is real......

On Extreme Makeover home edition (the show were people get a brand new home) it is almost ALWAYS people who are struggling financially. One women had like 15 foster kids. Sure, her house was okay, but it was difficult to make ends meet. Also, after you give someone a brand new huge freaking house, electricity bills etc go up. So the person can't be incredibly poor or they won't be able to pay the bills for their new house.

Great question!!!!! Ya know, I was talking with my mom about this the other day....and I agree with you. It would make things a lot more realistic and not to mention entertaining if they had a group of rednecks on "Deal or No Deal"....kinda like the Clampetts go to Maui kinda thing. Would love to see ol'e Vern up there with his holy overalls, held up only by one strap....unshaven beard and sproutin a NASCAR ball cap with collector pins all over it, and of course he HAS to be holding a spit cup! Vern could bring the entire clan to root for him....all 30 of them on the sidelines dressed to the nines in holy denim, barbecue stained NASCAR shirts and mark thier tv appearance by celebrating with airhorns. Of course his wife would be 9 months preggers and about to pop that kid any second, which would definately make for some must see TV!

Now THAT's a show to watch! LOL

I agree....Thats why I dont watch that show, it is just something else to help the rich have it easy. There should be poor people on there. Better yet, why not someone homeless, they need a house/money more than anyone.
