IT WAS ONLY 3 episodes cause its only a OVA besides the manga was only 20 chapter so after the OVA series there was nowhere to go ...why? BECAUSE THE MANGA WAS ONLY 20 CHAPTER!!!!!!....everything by kaori yuki is good but she always ends it way too soon and worse it always ends with a cliffhanger and you will be like "WTF!!!" that other manga of her "bound hound" was awesome too , but you can only guess what happened...YES!!! its ended with a cliffhanger !!!!!! at this point i don't read anything she makes, at least other mangaka have the decency to give their audience a reasonable ending!!!

I suppose the manga wasn't popular enough to be an anime back when the OVAs where made.
