Ok believe it or not a K&N airfilter will add about 8-10 H/P with a small engine plus better MPG and keeps ur engine cleaner than a paper filter because a K&N filter is made of about 6 layers of cotton and about 2 layers of gause which will trap up to 2 microns against your fram wich traps up to about 18 microns and restricts airflow. And you will never have to buy another air filter but you have to clean it out every ounce in a while with the recharge kit. sorry cant help with the price of the car.

Not to repeat any previous posts...but! I have found that many people spend money in an effort to save money.
Are you buying just the filter? Or are you purchasing an entire air intake kit? The price difference may be from $50.00 to $400.00.
If it is just the filter, your increase in horsepower and fuel economy will be more greatly dependent on keeping the filter element clean and serviceable.
If you purchase the entire intake kit, your power and fuel economy gains will be greater than just the filter. But be sure and keep it clean.
Before you purchase either, break out your calculator and do the math. How long will it take you to recuperate your investment on an intake kit. You can do this by estimating your project fuel savings.
I have a Banks kit on a diesel truck and have Incorporated it with a twin turbocharger, horsepower programmer, and a high flow exhaust system. All three combined have increased a 310 horse power engine to a 425+ horse power monster.
Good luck.

Well the best selling point would be you'll never have to buy another filter which will save in the long run. the horsepower increase is minimal but you can notice a little something after it is put in. Gas mileage also goes up 2 or 3 miles to gallon. It helps the car breath easier thats why all cold air intakes use a filter similar to the k&n.
They usually run around 50 to 60 bucks money well spent in my opinion.

The filter increases the performance of the car by letting more air to flow in. Also take care that you must clean the filter after some kilometres(like above 2000) like that.Dunno exactly. But really it is worth buying one.

dont know about the cost 4 ur car but the k& N is a good filter it works by giveing more air flow to the engine but should be changed more offten because it lets more dirt into the engine as well when dirty but thats just my opinion not facts i guess u need facts to make a statment like that

filter is one small component in the big game... it can say provide a boost of around 2% by improving airflow...
check out this site could be of help..

if u really want to get the hp ..go for an upgrade...say turbos, intercooloers, suspension kits, clutch n it will go on.
k&n,pipercross, blitz, greddy all have good "performance"filters...but frankly i dont the price in India.

Yes they work. But they show more improvement on higher horsepower cars running bigger engines. I doubt if you would see any difference on one of your size. Save your money.
