To start, I hate Flordia. Absolutly hate Flordia, football and basketball. But has everyone forgot, they won the national title less than a year ago WITH THE SAME TEAM!!! They are the best team in the country, hands down. Yeah, its college basketball, everyone is going to lose a game here and there thats just the way it is, they are still just kids. But you cannot tell me that Wisconsin or OSU are better teams. The only teams that are in the same league as UF are UCLA and UNC. Granted this doesnt mean that they will win the NC again this year because that is the beauty of the NCAA tourney, but they are the best team. They might not have the Alando Tucker's, Greg Oden's, Kevin Durrants, or Afflalos of the world, but they play team basketball. Granted against Vandy they played horrible defense but they know how to win. Wisconsin and OSU wont reach the Final Four let alone win the NC. Flordia is an unbelievable team and i hate to admit it but yeah they deserve the No. 1 ranking.

Although the lost, I still think they are #1. They beat Ohio State, the number 2 team, convincingly. Now, the argument for Ohio State being #1 isn't very weak, it's just Florida's argument for #1 is stronger. Ohio State played Florida in a marquee matchup in Gainesville, and lost by 26. Now, that was their starting center and "diaper dandy" Greg Oden's 2nd game, but Florida won it and if they played again on a neutral court, I would expect the same result (although much closer game). Ohio State is a team of fantastic freshmen, the "Thad Five" if you will, and I just can't put a team of freshmen at #1. So I will go with Florida until they lose another. Everyone can lose one by fluke. The rankings don't really matter to me anyone, as long as one of those teams gets a #1 seed it won't matter too much, and anything can happen in conference tourneys.
