Hey Joe, on most phones if you press and hold the star (*)key for about 2-3 seconds, that should do the trick. This should allow you to go between silent and regular modes quickly.

On the left side there are two buttons one is the silent button and one the volume. This should work. If you still cannot figure it out do a search on line about your model phone and get the instructions on line. This will definitely give you the information needed. Best Wishes!

On Samsung phones you press and hold the # key for a couple of seconds. Then you can use the volume keys on the side to turn the volume up.

Does it have a 2-position volume button on the side? Pump it all the way up.
