i just bought a ps3 n i dont know how to make the internet work and download stuff
can sum1 pleasee help me......EXPLAIN

if u have wireless internet, then all u got to do is scan it on your PS3 under network settings, choose wireless connection. if u don't have a wireless internet, then u plug in the ethernet cable(looks like a phone line) that came in the box to the back of the PS3 and the other end to the router go back to network settings and chage it to wired

PS3 internet is free. You need an ethernet cable to connect to the internet. You have to have a high-speed internet connection like DSL or Cable. You would plug one end of the ethernet cable into your modem and the other end in the back of the PS3.

yes its free. I think if you go under settings there should be somthing called internet connection or somthing like that and you have too fill it out. If not you might have to sign up for the network.or update your system. You can update your system by going under settings and clicking system update after that click via interent. So far theres 2 updates and each update takes 45 minutes to and hour. If you have a psp its the same way you set up the internet there as the ps3. You also might need to put in some cables (my dad did it) thats very confusing.

The guy above is correct but you should use a router to connect your PS3 and modem together.
