I think when you're in a relationship, it's kind of like a drug. Whether you two are ecstatically happy or phoning it in, you're still "on something". When it's no longer there it's like a withdrawal.

No, you are not bi-polar! You are experiencing very common side affects of a break up. Some people call it being "Love Sick" which I could agree because your physical is affectd by your mental. I sense that you are probaly still single and aren't quite sure yet what to do with your new found schedule of nothing to do LoL. People always spend A LOT of time with their BF or GF so when that part of your life is cut out, you literally feel weird and empty inside as you said. Im sure you feel a flutter in your heart or get nautious when you think about him, thats not because you are disgusted by him, but those thoughts remind you of how lonely you are. I would say not to think about taking him back, there is a reason why you feel content about breaking up with him. Maybe you felt tied down and don't like commitment, or maybe he treats you with disrespect and you don't know any better. There are a thousand different scenarios I could take you through, but in the end you know deep in your heart why you ended it. Give the single life a chance, get into school, a hobby, be with friends, just find something that keeps you busy and you will find that those feelings will simply melt away. Better yet you may find the one that truly sweeps you off of your feet. Follow your heart but keep yourself in check with your head, dont make a mistake that you will regret. Seconf goodbyes are always the hardest and it's NEVER the same the second time around! Good Luck!!!

sounds prettty normal to me. even being bipolar, I think it's really more that you're used to having somebody around for 6-7 months, and love is like a drug. certain chemicals are released in your brain when in love, and an abrupt change of course changes the levels of (is it?)dopamine, and this can throw ya for a loop, especially because you are used to it by now.
sounding empty but content, that's a good thing, cuz you are better off without him. the emptiness won't last. and content can turn into and frequently does become a happy thing. stick with your decision, there were reasons you made that decision in the first place. there are other fish and it is a mighty big sea.
you'll be fine. meanwhile, God bless you, and good luck. : )

The reason why us women feel that way is because we have big hearts that like to love.Plus we women have a mined that we can make up on our own with out the men in are lives.Plus been bipolar I am also so I understand were you are coming from.I wish you nothing but the best of luck.Plus there are other fish in the sea.

You are probably lonely but better now without him. You need to find someone new. You had him around alot for 7 months and it's probably just the change you're feeling. Get out there and find somebody great!

You probably dont like/love him; its just the fact that you got so use to being with him, etc. Don't worry, you'll get over this.
