It has come to my attention that here on Yahoo, Americans always seem to advocate No Sex Before Marriage and I just wonder how prevalent that idea is in th States.

So the Queston is, were you a vrgin when you married? I really want a cross section here so please answer if the criterion applies to you.

Please! American women are hypocrites. Sure they rant and rave about no sex before marriage.

But I guarantee by the time American women get around to thinking about marriage, they have at least 3 or 4 or perhaps close to 10 partners under their belt.

They take advantage of the loophole of being single and therefore can have plenty of sex with no strings attached and not be held accountable. This is what is called sexual liberation.

Yet the will claim that they aren't promiscuous and then marry somebody. Problem is, the rules of marriage are meaningless now since they lived up all their wildest fantasies while single. So of course the will hunker down in marriage and not think about straying to fulfill a fantasy because they have already done it.

I was not but I did wait for the right person. I was 33 when I lost my virginity (it happened on my birthday). The guy is my soul mate. I love this man very much and we have since gotten married.

no I was not. But I think that if you are a virgin before you marry that you will never know if you have the best in bed. You will know only this man and the way he makes love. The first time a woman really has a "first " love she is so dedicated. So she will never be unhappy if he is all she knows.

It is ideal to stay a virgin until you get married but most females don't opt to go that route. Me, no I was not a virgin when I got married.

i wasn't a virgin when i got married. i was a sinner. America has lost it's morals but there are still a few that are strong and are still pure.

the media has really tainted the whole thing about sex. so sad.
